This is surely one of the best releases of the year. “Devine Intervention” is the result of the collab between Cloudstorm Ent. and HeavyMetalMuzik which are formed by none other than the Great Dee, Eyekon, The Ghost Zapata, Dopamine and Anita Blunt, ie, the first line of new-school Chicano rap. Those who follow updates @oldschoolcityl, are already aware of what we can expect from this album.
The videos “Murdering Rap” and “Drug Story” give us the exact dimension of this project, all young and very talented addressing issues relevant to the lifestyles of Latino youth.
The production is a high point of exalted, beyond the sounds mentioned in the video I point out “I’m Not Perfect” and “Light My Fire.” Be sure that all names involved in the album will surprise more and more fans of the genre!
